Titbit #1 Lemon Granules
Sprinkle my lemon 'granules' on your noodles (zoodles) and be amazed at the flavour. Put 'lemons' in the search box above to read about them.Titbit #2 Freeze your Breadcrumbs
Buy bread (Gluten-Free) when it’s on offer and blitz into breadcrumbs. Pop useful amounts into bags and freeze. So handy to just grab from the freezer. Thaws quickly.
Titbit #3 Sweetcorn Mash
For a change - rather than using potato or sweet potato, heat a couple of cans of sweetcorn; drain and blitz for an instant, tasty mash.Find me on Instagram

How do you like your eggs?
I’m not an ‘eggy’ person unless it is a frittata, but my husband drools at the thought of them – he loves them so much and often has them for breakfast after his bircher. If he makes his own breakfast, … Continue reading

Charred Cauliflower and Coconut Curry
Sainsburys magazine called this a new Friday-night favourite and strangely enough I cooked this for the first time on a Friday but any day of the week would do as it is so quick, easy and really tasty. I added … Continue reading

Cranberry Chocolate Gingerbread Cake
I have never liked ginger biscuits, ginger cake or gingerbread in any form ( although I love ginger in main meals) but this recipe defies logic as I love it – it’s possibly the mix of cranberries and/or chocolate that … Continue reading

Sesame Ginger Beef with Sugarsnap Peas
Another delicious recipe for the slow cooker. Hardly any preparation for this one except slicing the red pepper and mixing the liquids. The beef was ‘melt-in-the-mouth’ which complimented the slight crunchiness of the sugar snap peas perfectly. I keep a … Continue reading

Gluten-Free Christmas Pudding
Starting in 1970 (I remember the date as it was the year I got married) I started making old-fashioned Christmas puddings exactly to my mother-in-law’s recipe, who made them from her mother’s recipe. I made them every September – not … Continue reading
